Security Checks
Micro solutions run periodic (every 15 days) security checks on the servers and generates reports with the following details using third party tools such as Nessus. Services running on the server and versions of software used.
Up-to-date security vulnerability database. Over 1121 security checks are performed. Reports which service is vulnerable and what action has to be taken with all the references to advisories from CVE, Bugtraq, CERT and other independent companies and organizations. Detection of any issues with the network, with risk levels of any problems detected (from Low to Very High)
Server/OS Updates
Periodically (every 15 days) Micro solutions check for any OS/Application software updates for all their servers. All their Linux servers are put on an automatic update schedule using Redhat's up2date. All Win2k servers are manually updated for any patches every 15 days (or sooner if a patch is released and announced).
Datacenter Security
Apart from Server and data security, Micro solutions host in world class datacenter facilities where server access is guarded by Datacenter facilities such as video surveillance, palm-based-authentication etc.
Uptime

Monitoring
They have monitoring systems which check uptime of not just their servers, but also EVERY service and resource of their servers. If there is ANY alert for any server (such as a particular service going down, or any problem with CPU/Memory/Disk utilization) all their tech support personnel are immediately alerted in the office. Additionally if this issue is not resolved within 5 minutes, then the issue is escalated, and SMS alerts are sent every 5 minutes to everyone including their Management, with the name of the server, and the problem with that server, until the issue is resolved. This allows them to detect and resolve any issue within minutes of it happening.
